Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has spoken out emotionally about her ongoing separation from her children, accusing her estranged husband, Ned Nwoko, of using custody as a weapon against her.
The revelation came after the actress shared a video showing a brief video call with her sons, a moment that quickly drew public attention.
Moreover, Regina disclosed that she has not physically spoken to or been with her children since mid-November, following her exit from the marriage.
According to her, the separation has been deeply painful, despite outward appearances that suggest she is coping well.
However, she insisted that no mother can truly be at peace while cut off from her children. This disclosure has reignited conversations around celebrity marriages, custody disputes, and public scrutiny.
In a lengthy caption accompanying the video, Regina explained the emotional toll of the situation.
She wrote, “People may believe that I am happy, but no mother can be at peace while separated from her children.” She added that her decision to walk away took time, as she did not want pain to control her life.
Furthermore, the actress accused Nwoko of deliberately exposing their children to public attention.
She stated, “The repeated public exposure of my children, reflects a troubling and deliberate pursuit of negative attention by their father.”
Regina questioned whether such actions were driven by parental duty or a desire for public engagement.
Meanwhile, she revealed troubling claims about events that followed her departure. Regina alleged that her former husband dismissed all her nannies and pressured them into making damaging statements.
She said these accusations were made “accusing me of violence and alcohol abuse in front of the children.”
In addition, Regina claimed that Nwoko has filed for full custody, despite already having the children in his care.
Therefore, she questioned why she is being treated as a threat. “I am left to wonder whether I am truly such a threat that I am being challenged so aggressively,” she wrote.
The actress did not hold back her emotions, describing herself as a devoted mother who deeply misses her children.
“I enjoy being a mum and I miss being a mum,” she said, stressing that she would not abandon her maternal responsibilities.
Importantly, Regina issued a firm warning, making her position clear. “Its so crazy if their father thinks I won’t come for my children. I will definitely see my kids soon!”
