The Petroleum Products Retail Outlets Owners Association of Nigeria (PETROAN) has announced a strategic agreement with Dangote Refinery to guarantee uninterrupted fuel supply during the festive season.
Dr. Joseph Obele, National PRO of PETROAN, confirmed on Friday that the association, led by its National President, Dr. Billy Hary, successfully negotiated a buyer-seller deal during a meeting with Dangote Refinery management on December 2, 2024, in Lagos.
The agreement secures monthly fuel allocations for PETROAN members at favorable rates to mitigate fuel scarcity fears.
“We are happy that Nigerians will travel effortlessly this season,” Obele assured, emphasizing PETROAN’s commitment to sustaining market stability in collaboration with key stakeholders, including NNPC Retail Ltd. and Dangote Refinery.
He also highlighted the association’s zero-scarcity strategy to prevent disruptions during the Yuletide.
Meanwhile, PETROAN retail outlets nationwide are on high alert, ready to ensure efficient distribution and service.
Dr. Billy Hary commended Dangote Refinery’s Managing Director, Devakumar Edwin, for supporting efforts to maintain fuel availability, urging stakeholders to work collaboratively for long-term market stability.
