Peter Obi, the former Labour Party presidential candidate, has extended heartfelt condolences to Jigawa State Governor Umar Namadi following the devastating loss of his mother, Hajiya Maryam Namadi, and son, Abdulwahab Namadi, who died in a motor accident.
Obi described the tragedy as a deeply painful experience and urged the governor to remain strong during this trying period.
In his condolence message, Obi stated, “The death of a loved one is always painful. But the pain of losing a mother and a son within such a short period cannot be described by mere words.”
He prayed for strength for the grieving family and added, “May Almighty Allah forgive the sins of the dead and grant them Aljanna Firdausi.”
