Panic as Night Crusade Disrupted in Nasarawa Village by Fulani herdsmen

Panic swept through Agbada Village on Monday night after a Nasarawa church crusade panic sent worshippers running for safety during an unexpected disruption.

The outdoor service, which had drawn many residents, ended abruptly when fear spread through the crowd.

Moreover, several villagers were seen fleeing in different directions as confusion took over the gathering.

A viral video from the scene showed worshippers scrambling away from the crusade ground.

The footage captured frantic gestures and loud commotion; however, no visible weapons or active violence were recorded in the clip.

Therefore, questions have continued to rise about what exactly triggered the sudden chaos.

The incident was quickly linked by many villagers to suspected Fulani herdsmen, especially due to the long-standing farmer–herder tension in Nigeria’s Middle Belt.

In addition, others suggested the disruption may have involved bandits who operate across rural communities.

Meanwhile, none of these claims have been confirmed by security agencies.

Officials in Nasarawa State have not issued any formal statement to verify the cause of the disturbance.

Furthermore, the police have not disclosed whether investigators have visited the scene.

Community members say they are still waiting for clear information, as the fear created at the crusade remains a major concern.

Residents in Agbada Village expressed worry about the rising security risks linked to night-time religious events.

One community elder noted that rural areas often lack quick emergency response. “We felt helpless because we did not know what was happening,”.

No casualty has been reported, and no arrest has been made at the time of writing.

Also, no account has claimed that anyone was kidnapped in the alleged attack.
