The Appeal Court judge in Ondo State ,Lokulo-Sodipe on Monday had slumped and died in his office in Akure, Ondo State.
The judge slumped in his chamber while planning to sit over a case.The 67-year-old judge was confirmed dead after he was rushed to the hospital.
The Chairman, Nigeria Bar Association, NBA, Akure branch, Banjo Ayenakin, described the demise of the judge as shocking.According to him, the deceased was a quintessential and intelligent judge, known for being forthright.“I commiserate with his family and the President of the Court of Appeal, Nigeria.“The entire members of NBA Akure will surely miss his promptness, forthrightness and commitment to the development of Justice in Nigeria.”
