Four-time Grand Slam tennis champion, Naomi Osaka and her rapper boyfiend, Cordae, have welcomed the birth of a baby girl, their first child on Tuesday.
The 25-year-old Japanese star and her daughter are safe and well according to a report.
Osaka announced her pregnancy on social media in January, revealing her pregnancy in June at a princess-themed baby shower.Last month, she mentioned that she and Cordae were considering unconventional names rather than standard ones.
She added that 2023 will be a year “full of lessons,” noting that she hoped to return to tennis the following year and play in the Australian Open in 2024.
Osaka won her maiden major tennis title at the 2018 US Open and subsequently the 2019 Australian Open. She then won back-to-back Grand Slam singles titles at the 2020 US Open and 2021 Australian Open.
