Real Madrid faces Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), Kylian Mbappé has officially withdrawn his complaint of moral harassment against his former club.
The announcement was made by his lawyer, Pierre-Olivier Sur, who told AFP on Monday, July 7, that the civil case had been dropped.
“We are withdrawing our civil action,” Sur confirmed, signaling an unexpected end to a dispute that stirred legal and public interest over player treatment in professional football.
The initial complaint came after Mbappé alleged he had been mistreated by PSG, following his refusal to sign a new contract.

The striker was reportedly sidelined and made to train away from the main squad alongside other players the club intended to transfer.
Mbappé, now 26, was excluded from PSG’s pre-season tour in Asia and missed the opening game of the Ligue 1 season.
However, he was later reinstated to the squad after internal talks, allowing him to play through what became his final campaign with the club.
He left PSG in the summer of 2024 to join Real Madrid, ending a fruitful seven-year tenure in which he scored 256 goals in 308 appearances.
His departure appeared to spark PSG’s rise to their first-ever UEFA Champions League title, achieved shortly after his exit.
Despite dropping the moral harassment complaint, Mbappé remains in a legal dispute with PSG over unpaid wages and bonuses reportedly worth around €55 million (\$64.4 million).
This issue remains active in court and could result in further financial consequences for the club.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid is set to face PSG in the semi-finals of the Club World Cup on Wednesday.
