Former Marlian Records signee Lil Smart has released video evidence to refute claims by Zinoleesky that they had not crossed paths this year.
This follows allegations by Lil Smart that he was assaulted and kidnapped by Zinoleesky and his entourage.
The dancer had initially accused the singer and Marlian Records boss, Naira Marley, of orchestrating the incident, sharing a video of the alleged encounter.
Zinoleesky had denied the accusations, asserting that he had not seen Lil Smart throughout 2024.
However, Lil Smart countered this denial with video proof allegedly showing the incident transpired on December 8, 2024. Sharing his frustration online, he wrote, “ZINO-LIAR, you said you would never see me this year… see the date and time.”
This unfolding drama has reignited concerns about accountability in the Nigerian music industry, with many urging swift intervention to avoid repeating past tragedies like the death of Mohbad in September 2023.
