Afrobeats star Kizz Daniel is making waves once again with the release of his much anticipated EP titled “Lemon Chase.”
The seven-track collection arrived as a soulful, honest, and emotional offering, serving as a prelude to his upcoming full-length album, “Uncle K.”
More than just a compilation of songs, the “Lemon Chase EP” reflects the singer’s personal journey.
It explores themes such as love, peace, heartbreak, growth, and enjoyment experiences many listeners can relate to.

Kizz Daniel doesn’t just sing; he tells stories with emotional clarity.
The EP kicks off with “Black Girl Magic,” a powerful opener that sets the tone for what’s to come.
The closing track, “Police,” features the rich voices of Johnny Drille and global music legend Angelique Kidjo.
Their contributions highlight the project’s emotional depth and wide musical range.

Speaking about the essence of the EP, Kizz Daniel shared, “When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade out of it.
I wanted this project to feel like real life; sweet, sour, confusing, beautiful.
This is music for your heart, for when you’re healing, or hoping, or remembering. I just wanted it to be honest, authentic and true to self.”
The Lemon Chase project also brings together some of the most notable voices in Afrobeats.
Collaborations include Bella Shmurda, Odumodu Blvck, Zlatan, and Fola — all known for their distinct sounds and lyrical fire.
Fola, who previously worked with Kizz Daniel on “Lost,” returns to add emotional richness to this project.
Moreover, each song on the EP is crafted with intention.
The sound is rooted in Afrobeats but isn’t afraid to stretch into different styles.
This blend of tradition and innovation strengthens Kizz Daniel’s position as a forward-thinking artist.
