American singer and actress Halle Bailey has responded to the public after initially calling out her child’s father, DDG, for allowing their son, Halo, to appear on Kai Cenat’s livestream without informing her.
On November 7, Bailey returned to social media to acknowledge that her initial reaction may have been strong, writing on X, “Yesterday maybe I did overreact and shouldn’t have brought it here.
I know that Halo is always safe with his dad. I just don’t like finding out with the rest of the world what my baby is doing.”
Bailey’s initial concern resonated with many followers, who defended her maternal instincts and her right to know where her child is, especially when she is away.
She shared her initial post on November 6, stating, “I am his mother and protector, and saddened that I wasn’t notified, especially when I am out of town.”
While she received some backlash for publicly voicing her concerns, Bailey’s transparent and thoughtful follow-up reflects her commitment to doing what is best for her son.
