The news was shared by his colleague Oluwaseun Adejumobi, who took to Instagram to honor him, saying,

Beyond acting, Baba Gbenro was a pillar in Christian drama, founding the Calvary Movies Drama Ministry in Ogbomoso, Nigeria, and serving as CEO of Calvary Movies Television.
