Since the Saturday’s presidential and National Assembly elections continue to flow in, the Labour Party has again recorded another victory as the party has been declared winner of theIsuikwuato/Umunneochi House of Representatives in Abia State.
The party candidate, Chief Amobi Ogah who was officially declared winner of the poll by the Independent Electoral Commission on Sunday, got 11,822.His close opponent Hon Nkiru Onyejeocha of the All Progressives Congress, APC, garnered 8752 from the total votes cast.
The emergence of Chief Amobi has retired Nkeiruka Onyejeocha who has been occupying the position for the past 16 years.
