The music world has been thrown into mourning following the sudden death of Dropout Kings frontman, Adam Ramey, who tragically took his own life after a prolonged struggle with addiction.
He passed away on Monday, May 19, just days before his 32nd birthday.
According to a GoFundMe page created by his sister-in-law, Jamie Varner, Ramey had battled addiction for years.
The page revealed the emotional toll he carried and the heartbreak his death has brought to his loved ones.

“Adam wasn’t just my brother-in-law,” Varner wrote on the fundraising page.
“He was like a real brother to me. He saved my life during one of my darkest times and always showed up for the people he loved.”
She continued, “He brought life and energy to every room, every family gathering, and every stage he stepped on.
Watching him perform especially at local shows in Phoenix or when he came to Tampa, was unforgettable.”
Adam Ramey’s death has not only left his fans stunned but has also left his young family devastated.
He is survived by his 29-year-old wife,
Jamie, and their 18-month-old son, Jude.
“Now Jamie is left grieving the love of her life while raising their baby boy alone,” the GoFundMe description added.
“She’s facing not only unimaginable heartbreak but also the financial weight of funeral expenses and legal costs.”
As of Wednesday morning, May 21, the page had raised over \$40,760, edging closer to the \$60,000 goal, as fans and friends continue to show their support during this painful time.
Ramey was a founding member and lead vocalist of Dropout Kings, a band formed in Phoenix, Arizona in 2016.
The group became known for its signature blend of rap and rock, drawing comparisons to iconic acts like Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit.
According to the band’s official page, their sound was described as a “ generational evolution of rap-infused rock bands.”

Since their debut, Dropout Kings released three albums and had multiple successful songs including “Unholy,” “Glitch Gang,” and “I Ain’t Depressed,” which earned millions of streams.
The band members also expressed their grief in a heartfelt message released after Ramey’s passing.
“Life comes at you in ways you can never predict,” they wrote.
“The rollercoaster of chasing your dreams and building with your brothers and friends is a joy few get to know in the most genuine sense and one we were beyond blessed to experience with one another as Dropout Kings.”
However, as tributes continue to pour in, supporters are urged to help his grieving family through donations and prayers
