Bill Gates Pledges Nearly All His Wealth to Africa by 2045

In a monumental show of philanthropy, billionaire businessman Bill Gates has pledged to donate almost all of his \$200 billion fortune to the Gates Foundation by 2045.

A major portion of this donation will be focused on improving lives across Africa.

Gates’ donation will go toward fighting child and maternal deaths, infectious diseases, and deep-rooted poverty in developing countries.

Most of the funding will be directed to Africa, where the Gates Foundation has made a remarkable impact for over two decades.

So far, the foundation has supported more than 100 innovations across the continent.

These efforts have helped save over 80 million lives through improved access to healthcare, vaccines, and poverty relief programs.

In a public statement, the foundation confirmed its focus: “The majority of the funding will be allocated to Africa, where the Gates Foundation has been working for over two decades to address these pressing issues.”

Moreover, this \$200 billion pledge by Gates is seen as one of the largest single philanthropic commitments ever made.

It reflects not just generosity but a growing trend of billionaire donors shaping global health and development strategies.

The continent, often affected by limited healthcare access, stands to benefit the most from this initiative.

The foundation has already built partnerships with African governments, health workers, and non-profit groups to ensure sustainable progress.
