In an unexpected show of support, Prince Arthur Eze, the billionaire oil magnate and Chairman of Atlas Oranto Petroleum, has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, calling him “God’s gift to Nigeria” for his leadership, inclusive governance, and dedication to national unity.
The endorsement was made public through a State House documentary aired in celebration of Tinubu’s second year in office.
The video featured notable personalities offering their thoughts on the president’s achievements.
“God doesn’t make mistakes. That man, Tinubu, was created for a purpose. God gave him the power to change lives,” Eze stated.
He added, “Tinubu has no enemies. He is a unifier. He speaks with humility and honesty; that’s why we admire him.”
This commendation, which many found surprising, especially given the complex political relationship between the Southeast and the federal government, came as a moment of national reflection.
Arthur Eze’s support appears to signal a call for unity and trust in leadership.
Moreover, the 76-year-old philanthropist highlighted Tinubu’s inclusive approach towards the Southeast.
He stressed that no past administration had shown such visible support for the region.

“What Tinubu has done for the Southeast, nobody else has. He gave us the Minister of Works, the Minister of Science and Technology, and the Southeast Development Commission.
This is an opportunity for the Igbo to unite with the rest of Nigeria,” he emphasized.
Eze, widely respected among the Igbo elite and across Nigeria’s business community, expressed confidence in Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
He described the president as a leader with wisdom to guide Nigeria through tough times.
“God has given him the wisdom to change Nigeria for the good of the present and future generations,” he said.
Furthermore, he encouraged all Nigerians to support the president, stating that national progress could only be achieved through collective support and prayers.
“He’s not a man of division whether Christian or Muslim, he respects all. All he asks is that we pray to God and work together,” Eze noted.
In conclusion, Arthur Eze prayed for the president and the country.
“May God guide Nigeria and President Tinubu. He gave him this power and will help him complete the job,” he added.
This development, though unexpected, reflects a potential shift in regional support and a call for greater national unity.
