In a move aimed at boosting transparency, Assistant Inspector General of Police Olatunji Rilwan Disu has launched a new platform for public complaints and commendations.
The initiative was introduced at the Force Criminal Investigation Department, FCID Annex, Alagbon Lagos. Moreover, it is designed to strengthen accountability and improve trust between officers and the public.
The AIG Tunji Disu feedback channel allows Nigerians to report misconduct or share positive experiences directly with the FCID leadership. Therefore, members of the public now have a clearer path to make their voices heard.
The development was announced in a statement by the Public Relations Officer of the Force CID Annex, Lagos, ASP Aminat Maiyegun. She encouraged citizens to use the official contact lines provided.
Members of the public can submit feedback through the following channels:
07068865833 | 08067167605
pprofcidannex@gmail.com

According to Maiyegun, public input will play a key role in improving service delivery. She explained that such engagement would help promote accountability and professionalism within the department.
The initiative comes shortly after AIG Disu assumed leadership at the FCID Annex in Lagos. However, this is not the first time he has introduced reform-focused measures.
Disu previously served as Commander of the Lagos Rapid Response Squad, RRS. During that period, several operational reforms were implemented to improve security response and efficiency. His leadership style has often been described as hands-on and accessible.
In addition, he has adopted an open-door policy at the FCID Annex. This approach allows members of the public to contact him directly and share confidential information when necessary.
