The management of the popular Nollywood actor, Godwin Nnadiekwe, has released a much-needed update on his health following his recent hospitalization.
The update comes days after a filming accident involving fellow actor Zubby Michael reportedly led to Godwin being rushed to the hospital.

According to the statement, Godwin Nnadiekwe had already been recovering from a serious chest injury before the latest incident occurred.
The injury was sustained in December 2023 during what the team described as a gym accident.
“We are sharing an important update regarding actor Godwin Nnadiekwe. On December 22, 2023, Godwin sustained a severe chest injury due to a gym accident involving a fallen weight,” the team disclosed.
“This incident necessitated a two-month recovery period,” the statement added, shedding light on a lesser-known struggle the actor had endured before the film shoot.
Godwin’s health concern became public after he reportedly received a kick from Zubby Michael while filming a movie scene.
While the blow may have appeared harmless to onlookers, it may have triggered underlying complications from the gym injury.
