Senator Ned Nwoko has issued a warning to bloggers and social media users spreading false reports about his estranged wife, Regina Daniels. The lawmaker has urged the actress’s fans and friends to stop adding to her troubles. He wants the public to give her time and space to recover.
Nwoko also threatened legal action against anyone responsible for publishing false claims about her death, health and personal life. He made the appeal in a statement shared on his Instagram page. He expressed concern over fake death announcements, misleading reports and hurtful online posts about the actress.
“I want to make a sincere appeal to the public, particularly Regina’s fans, friends, bloggers and social media commentators, to please give Regina some breathing space,” he said.
According to the senator, Daniels has faced difficult moments and needs support rather than public criticism. He also stressed that their children deserve to see their mother receive care and encouragement.
“Regina has been through a lot, more than many people may realise, and right now, what she needs most is love, support and the opportunity to recover.”
Nwoko also referred to a birthday video shared by Daniels. He said the video offered a glimpse into some of the health challenges she had faced.
He maintained that her situation should not become an excuse for public attacks or judgment. The senator added that her well-being remained important to him. The lawmaker further criticised reports falsely announcing the actress’s death. He said such publications were causing her additional emotional distress.
“These things are not harmless social media engagement. Regina sees many of these posts, and they are deeply distressing. They do nothing to support her recovery, rather, they add to the burden she is already carrying,” he said.
He urged supporters to challenge false reports instead of sharing them. Nwoko also warned that those deliberately spreading such claims could face legal consequences.
“We are documenting these publications, and anyone found responsible will be held accountable through the appropriate legal channels,” he said.
The senator maintained that Regina Daniels deserves privacy and support while dealing with her personal challenges. His warning has placed renewed attention on the online reports surrounding the actress and calls for the public to respect her privacy.
