Swank hinted at the baby’s expected arrival with a humorous caption that quickly drew attention to her exciting news.

“A lot of people have been asking what project I’m doing next, this one releases in December,” she wrote.

The video showed colourful, glowing stick figures dancing in the dark. A fourth figure then appeared, with a tiny glowing shape on Swank’s belly suggesting a baby.

Swank and Schneider married in 2018 and welcomed their twins, Aya and Ohm, in 2023. She first announced her twin pregnancy during an appearance on Good Morning America in October 2022.

“I’m so happy to share the news with you and with America right now,” she said at the time.

“I’m gonna be a mom, and not just of one but of two. I can’t believe it.”

The actress has also spoken openly about becoming a mother later in life. In a 2025 interview with Women’s Health, she revealed that she froze her eggs at 37.

She became pregnant with her twins about a decade later. She described that period as

“a magical time in my life, when it all culminated.”

“It was the right time for a myriad of reasons,” she added.

Swank also explained how age and experience had shaped her approach to motherhood.

She said she had become “much more patient” and “much more understanding.”

Building her family after establishing her acting career also helped her “really sink in and be present” with her children.
