Four crew members killed, five injured in an Indonesia Army MI17 that crashed in Central Java Province on Saturday during a training flight, according to NDTV.
In a statement made by Indonesian Army spokesman, Nefra Firdaus, “The incident killed four crew members and injured five others.”
Nedra said before the accident the helicopter had undergone a pre-flight check and in good condition.
Investigations are ongoing as the cause of the accident is still unknown.
This is the second time in two weeks a Military helicopter has crashed killing Four crew members. The first was on May 26 that involved a Russian Mi8 Military helicopter that crashed in an airport in Russia’s remote eastern Chukotka region, killing all four crew members.
