Barcelona wonderkid Lamine Yamal and Argentinian pop star Nicki Nicole have reportedly ended their relationship, following swirling rumours that the young footballer was unfaithful.
The news, which has shocked fans of both the music and football worlds, was confirmed indirectly through Spanish journalist and YouTuber Javier de Hoyos, who shared details of a message he said came directly from the 18-year-old star.
According to De Hoyos, Yamal admitted that the relationship had ended but strongly denied claims he cheated with an Italian influencer during a recent trip to Milan.
“He hasn’t been with anyone else,” De Hoyos quoted Yamal as saying on the Spanish TV show D Corazon.
The couple first went public in August 2025, celebrating Nicki Nicole’s 25th birthday just weeks after they were spotted together at a Barcelona nightclub.
However, fans recently noticed that the pair had unfollowed each other on social media and deleted several of their joint photos.
While neither Yamal nor Nicki Nicole has made an official statement about the breakup, De Hoyos’ revelation appears to confirm weeks of speculation.
The journalist clarified that Yamal’s trip to Italy happened after the breakup, saying, “The player specifically addressed the rumours involving a recent trip to Italy, insisting that he was no longer dating Nicki when he went.”
Away from his personal life, Yamal’s football journey has also faced challenges in recent weeks.
The young forward is reportedly dealing with Pubalgia, a condition that causes discomfort in the pelvic muscles.
According to Catalan daily Sport, Barcelona officials fear the injury could become chronic, potentially affecting his long-term fitness.
In addition to making headlines for his relationship, Yamal has drawn attention for a major real estate purchase.
Spanish media reports claim the teenager bought the £9.5 million mansion once owned by Gerard Piqué and Shakira, adding another layer of glamour to his fast-rising fame.
Photos posted online showed Yamal posing outside the luxury home, where he reportedly plans to live with his cousin and a close friend.
