Alhaji Usman Jidda Shuwa, the immediate past Secretary to the Borno State Government, has passed away.
A report stated that Shuwa, who served as Governor Babagana Umara Zulum’s SSG until May 28, died after a brief illness.
According to a source close to the family, the 65year-old breathed his last at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH) this evening.With a wealth of experience as an accomplished administrator, Shuwa, birthed 1958 had an impressive track record of service at the state and federal levels.
The state government is expected to announce the funeral arrangements in due course.
