Due to the heavy downpour of rain in several communities including Taraba which has affected over 10, 000 communities in Ibi local government council of Taraba state, the residents of the local government appealed to the state government, federal government has cried out for urgent help concerning these affected communities.
Some residents in Ibi LGA of the state said they have lost their houses, businesses, property, farms and animals to the flood disaster.
Another resident of Angwan Sarki in Ib LGA, Hajia Mainunat Angwa, lamented that the natural disaster has brought untold hardship on them.She stated that they have lost property worth millions of naira to flood. She also said many of those affected are at the moment homeless.
