The Police PRO, Adejobi in collaboration with IRT Commander, Tunji Disu made a parade of 21 arrested criminals from July-August 2022. Including the murderers of DPO and lawmaker in Bauchi, and Cult members from Ekpoma in a video where all recovered arms, pistols, cartridges and ammunitions were seen together with the suspected criminals of different offense
The murderers of DPO Garkuwa, Hon Musa of the State House of Assembly with names: Hamishu galadima 48, Abdulwahab Alhassu, Abdulwahab Ahmed, Hamidu Saleh, confessed concerning to the crimes of killing the DPO after his retirement because he made life tough and miserable for them while killing the Lawmaker because he failed to assist them with funds despite making request for it, also kidnapping his wife and children.
Four cutlasses, AK-47, 109mm pistol, Ammunitions and 8 expanded cartridges were recovered from them.
While the cult members, all University undergraduates, 20-year-old Okwesu Pascal was the leader of the gang, Micheal Ehinabor 24, Aneto Isreal 22, Destiny Ohomoghion 23, Bello Sunday 20, Momoh Kingsley 21, Eramo Akiri 27, Chukwu Chukwuemeka 24, Osama, Okoroha Christian and Edogogo Wellington were in the Black card alias ‘Aye’ confraternity, confessed that they haven’t killed anyone but initiated and the recovered AK-47 magazine pistol ammunitions and cartridges were given to them by the former leader of the cult.
Others were Umaru Adamu 40, Bello Salisu and Denre Musa alleged for illegal possession of firearms and kidnapping who confessed that the AK 47 seen with them were imported and also to secure themselves from disturbing kidnappers in the axis, Usman Ibrahim 35, Rabiu Lawali 32, Abubakar Sanni 40, alleged for Criminal conspiracy, Armed robbery, kidnapping, illegal possession of firearms and receiving of stolen items.
Also ,Abdulahi Abdulraman 20, Yahaya Inusa 20, Mubarak Abdulahi 26, Abayo Musa 30, alleged of criminal conspiracy, armed robbery and theft, they confessed they were okada riders before their operations and has stolen computers in Plateau and Bauchi
Abdulrazaq Isah 27 alleged of theft. A native of Ondo but brought up in Bauchi. Formerly worked as an engineer with DSTv, stole Ipad and Monitor. The alleged criminal was convicted to life imprisonment but has used 10yrs in his jail terms. He was one of the escapees of Kuje prison break.
Muritala Ibrahim 37, Suleiman Rabiu 28, Sanni aka mandula 39, alleged for criminal conspiracy and kidnapping, though 3 more suspects are yet to be seen. Aruna Yahu 28, alleged for criminal conspiracy and illegal possession of firearms.
PRO Adejobi urged Nigerians to help the police with vital informations concerning criminals and terrorists for the security and protection of the citizens in the country.
