Fourty people got injured early Saturday morning when a strong winds created chaos during the Medusa music festival located at the Spanish region of Valencia which unfortunately , killed a 22-year-old man .
The music festival’s entrance and exist wasn’t excluded as it also got collapsed due to weather conditions . However ,the police are investigating the exact circumstances behind the death, but there was a report that the man was hit by part of the concert stage that was torn off by the wind.
Videos also showed people’s tents nearly blowing away and damage to other structures.According to the Spanish meteorological agency, AEMET, it was recorded that the wind gusts stronger than 80km per hour (50 mph) in the area just after 4 a.m. local time (0100GMT) which gave a heat burst attribute caused by a drop in humidity and an increase in temperature known ‘rare’ .
Organizers of the festival said the winds caught them off guard and that the festival was evacuated immediately after the danger was perceived. Electronic music stars, Steve Aoki , David Guetta and Afrojack were headlining the festival .
The festival was set to run from Wednesday through Monday attracting 320,000 people, will not continue after the tragedy.
