Funke Akindele Bello had earlier unveiled herself as the running mate to the PDP governorship candidate in Lagos State, Dr Olajide Adediran, popularly called Jandor, controversial actor . This was barely hours as Uche Maduagwu attacked her.
Funke confirmed her appointment after speculations about her political career, which she snubbed. She then shared a video on her verified social media page to confirm that she has been chosen as a running mate to Jandor in the upcoming 2023 general elections.
Uche Maduagwu gave a reaction to this that Funke Akindele’s declaration as the running mate to Dr Olajide Adediran, is preposterously insensitive because at a time when Nigerians were observing social distancing to save their lives, during the global lockdown in 2020, Funke threw a flamboyant house party without ‘cognitive respect’ for safety and the effect of such act on the fans who look up to her.According to Uche ,such acts shows she has a long way to go on leadership spiritual journey.
